Just had an idea…
So there I am typing something in Word (’07, no less). “I’ve used the word ’suggests’ too many times”, I think to myself. Aha! Thesaurus to rescue!
Annoyingly though, it first suggests (:p) the related word “suggest”, which it then finds synonyms for.
Now, why can’t Word conjugate verbs when it suggests (:|) synonyms. It has a grammar checker, so it already knows about noun-verb agreements, so it shouldn’t be hard to add.
Good idea?

5:03 : Testing. yeah works
5:08 : The ever exciting world of the techie gets more exciting! An extension lead is required, Louis to the rescue!
5:21 : Sound checks started. This group is just bad. No other word from it, just bad.
5:32 : Waiting…
10:52 : Back at home.
Ok, so I failed. But in my defence, my EeePC was being used for many and varied noble causes, namely playing the interval music and Barry finding out about himself on the internet,
I was also really busy since the actual show was the first time I saw most of the acts, and lighting it nicely and interestingly was challenge. The few rehearsed pieces went perfectly and the rest looked rehearsed and really tight or just went to pieces. I’ll leave you with a blast from the past:
